Test 05 Key Study Points

1. Newborn Jaundice Babies have too many red blood cells. When these cells break down, they make bilirubin, which turns skin yellow.
2. Pneumothorax A "tension" lung collapse pushes the heart and windpipe to the side. It is a medical emergency.
3. Glasgow Coma Scale We check eyes, talking, and moving. A score of 15 is normal. A score of 3 is very deep coma.
4. Bedsores Stage 3 means the skin is gone and you see fat. Stage 4 means you see bone or muscle.
